I see some hankie hurling in Iowa over a Republican TV ad linking Democratic congressional candidate Bruce Braley to (GASP) the Communist Party and says he’s supported by “ultra liberals.”
Be still my trembling heart!
Hey, it's about time some has said in public what I've believed for some time; that the Communist Party in America is alive and well and doing its damnedest to promote its basic philosophy as verbalized way back in history, before the adulthood of many of today's citizens. That is; during the cold war. Nikita Kruschev, then leader of our avowed enemy, the Soviet Union declared:
"We will take America without firing a shot.......We will BURY YOU!"
and:
"We do not have to invade the United States, we will destroy you from within".
Some say, "well, that's just history...meaningless today because Communism is fading out around the world."
Oh? Its certainly not dying here. Take a good look at http://www.cpusa.org/
That is the web site of (believe it or not) the "Communist Party USA". Yes, the Communist party (CPUSA) is alive and thriving in America. Here's their published agenda:
"The Communist Party USA is an organization of activists in labor and all the people's movements with three main political aims:
"1. Defeating the right-wing agenda of the Bush Administration.
"2. Winning a wide-ranging program of reforms that put the well being of the people before private profits.
"3. Eventually replacing big business with labor and its allies as the dominant
power so as to insure that the rights, economic security and expanding needs of the people
become the overriding concern of society."
Read that thoughtfully. Note that they are activists in labor AND ALL THE PEOPLE'S MOVEMENTS [caps mine].
In other words, they are out there agitating for their goals. And what is their number one goal? Getting rid of President Bush.
You doubt that? Here's their latest spiel on http://www.cpusa.org/:
"The National Board of the Communist Party USA released the following appeal on Sept. 25:
"The Nov. 7 midterm elections are less than six weeks away. The stakes have never been so high: Control of the House and Senate and governorships nationwide. A recent poll shows that 75 percent of voters are disgusted by the Republican majority House and Senate, the highest disapproval rate since 1994. They are frustrated at Bush’s endless Iraq war, by Republican cronyism and corruption, tax giveaways to the rich, cutbacks in vital services, and criminal negligence in the wake of Hurricane Katrina."
Does any of this sound familiar?
Before too many liberals get their knickers in a twist, be advised that I am NOT saying all Democrats are Communists, or that they knowingly follow the Party line, but it's pretty obvious that the CPUSA is marching right along with Dems in their shrill efforts to "GET BUSH".
No, they are not waving a red flag adorned with a hammer and sickle; they look just like you and I and they "HATE WAR!"...just like you and I, so they are using the current war to little by little weaken our will to win, hoping that eventually my once proud country will cut and run.
I don't expect the radical Muslims will destroy us because sooner or later they will commit an atrocity that will wake up the groggiest of us, and we will do whatever it takes to rid the world of their horror.
But what a shame it is that we must wait for the ultimate slaughter. Why can't we unite behind our elected President and demonstrate to the world that we are not to be fooled with?
